Thanks to an initiative begun in 2011, with donations and assistance from JPMorgan Chase, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Congressman Joseph Crowley, and Councilman Jimmy Vacca, BCA now has a brand-new home. Located in a former Washington Mutual branch in Westchester Square, our public opening in the fall of 2019 marked a watershed moment of acknowledgment for arts and culture as a critical part of Bronx life.

Plans for our new home include public gatherings, readings, screenings, and a computer lab. Our grand opening, originally scheduled for May 2020, was postponed due to COVID-19.  Stay tuned for announcements about the inaugural event, open houses, programs and more!
